Re: line check - O/8 part of a HORSE tourney
Let me guess, the idiot with his TTT berated you in the chat and you're coming here for assurance? You've definitely got the right line. I've gotten that tirade before when I've stacked people or taken down huge pots with that exact draw. Some parts of the hand could have been played slightly differently perhaps, but you played it fine.

Re: line check - O/8 part of a HORSE tourney
It is still early in the tourney, players are playing looser. I think it's OK to limp-reraise here since you will obviously have a multi-way pot and your hand plays well multiway. In a cash game I might wait until the flop before hitting the afterburner.

Re: line check - O/8 part of a HORSE tourney
First, I would probably open-raise PF. After he caps the flop he probably has 1,2,5 in his hand so if he's aggressive I might check-raise him on the river. Even if he didnt make a wheel most aggro-donks will try and represent it. Tuco. |
