Default 25/50: AA / nut flush deep

Villian is stinger someone who I respect and is not going to be messing around without a hand with two shorter stacks yet to act. I think this is easy to play with a buy in or two but at 4 BI reraising the flop seemed bad to me. He is also not the type to pay off if he has a set and I do hit my flush. Comments welcome on all streets; especially thoughts on my flop play/other options.

I would have played it exactly the same, FWIW.

i guess the key is hand reading stinger here for his range. i think you need to put more action in at some point in this hand, either call the turn and bluff some scare cards or raise the turn all in, you have 9 nut outs.

So let me get this straight, if you hit your flush on the turn he will fold a set unless he is totally priced in?

I think my thinking was if I call turn and river is non board pairing club and I go AI he would not pay me off.

I agree that I played this very passively but I don't know how much more action I want to give. I think he has a set here alot. If I were to give more action I think it would be better ont he flop as my turn equity is very bad against a dry set and if he has 7745 or a smaller flush draw I only have 7 outs. What do you think his range is to raise this flop?

prob the other AA or a set.. i think on the turn you have to fold b/c of how you played it.. i think if 3-bet the flop in hopes of a free/cheaper river, and then he surprises you and slams the turn you're screwed and have to call b/c of the pot size.

there is a good chance you're still ahead though, but calling off $5k on the turn really sucks if the river blanks out and he pushes.

Only thing to change would be repot it preflop, good odds at running Heads up w Aces (even w single suit and lowkickers) and be wildly ahead. If not maybe you get odds to make a "wild and crazy push" on flop or turn.

Think you played it fine though. jUst my thoughts.

I think my hand is a little to weak to repot preflop. Tho I dont' think repotting is a big mistake.
