So Im getting a new computer and would be willing to spend up to 1k. I already have two monitors and a graphics card, so I just need the processor.
Im looking for one that is really fast and will not get [censored] by pokertracker. What do I get? Also, do they make desktop computers that have built in wireless cards like laptops because that would be cool? Thanks |

I also need this computer to have a PCI express x 16 slot for the graphics card I have.
So basically I want a computer that can handle poker tracker, is really fast, under 1k, built in wireless, and a PCI express x 16 slot for my graphics card. Suggestions? |

You have to build it custom. Buy the parts from newegg.com, and put a 10k rpm hd in it, etc.

You definitely do NOT have to build your own computer.
Maybe what Rhett meant is that you can go to a site and "customize" it. There are many cheap deals out there that Dell offers, google coupon codes before you buy too. I would go with Core Duo processor, at LEAST 1GB memory, and at the least...a Serial ATA hard drive. |

If you want them to sell you a computer w/o a video card, Rhett's right that you'll have to build your own. (There's a limit to what "customization" they allow.) I agree that you can just get a dell and minimize the card it comes with, but know that you'll still pay for a very respectable videocard in any Dell that cost $1k.
