Default From yesterday\'s Sunday Millions

This hand came up against a well known 2p2'er... I didn't have much of a read on him, he seemed to not play a ton of hands...

And please don't say "fold preflop" since that's not what I'm looking for....

Do you check the turn and fold the river, or is this a good spot to get aggressive?

Fold preflop.

Flop is meh at best, I prefer a push if you are pot committing yourself anyway with your gross minraise but a call/push turn is also fine. I really just hate this spot though and personally don't think I could play it profitably in this scenario which is why if I am not the pfr or unless I have a good read I am dumping that cheese pf

Do you have any indication that this 2p2er can dump KK here? Does he know your play, does he know that you are a poster?

Turn push is mandatory in the small hope that he had KK or KQs, you picked up too many outs to not shove... don't post results

Fold PF

Flop, either call or push

Turn push is all you can do

Don't post the river card because no decisions matter.

Scott,
I probably call flop bet and reevaluate turn. If played like that and A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] peels you can either repop his lead with FE or perhaps have more FE with a jam if checked to. I just think you probably maximize the chips you get here by calling flop and getting in on basically any turn depending on villian's action.

Actually I just reread the HH and your flop raise is a gross amount, you are asking for him to call here, jam on the flop or call and jam turn.

push for the re-steal pre-flop or fold (yeah, i know you don't want the "fold pre-flop" answer, but there it is ) sans reads i fold, but against a well known 2+2er you have a ton of FE left and this M level is the prime time to use it, IMO, to chip up (whether you can do it with QT is another matter, for another thread perhaps )

as played pre-flop, i agree with the call flop, shove turn advice above. i also agree that raise on the flop is just gross...

Since Jurollo has asked me to rejoin the board, I guess I'll post a reply to one of his posts.

This hand is bad on all streets except the turn.

I know you don't want to hear fold preflop, but, calling off what, 12% of your chips w/ QTs is pretty bad. If you want to put chips in on this hand, it should have all gone in preflop.

Ok, now that you called, the min raise on the flop is real real bad. What does it accomplish? He's not folding a better hand, he may push with a worse hand, and he isn't calling w/ 99, 88, etc. which are the hands you want him to call with.

Jurollo's line of calling the flop and re-evaluating on the turn is best.
