Default another turn c/r live at the Trop.

Ok, I was at the Tropicana last Sat. at a 4-8 hold em table and this hand came up. Villan's play was not very aggro up until this point. Saw her showdown AK twice and didnt raise preflop. My table image is TAG.

Hero is in ep with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

2 folds, hero raises, everyone folds to villian in BB she calls.

Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img],3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villian checks, I check.

Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Villian checks, I bet, Villian c/r's, Hero?

Change tables if you are getting this many folds usually pre.

I bet the flop and check behind on the turn if checked to.

You have a 3rd nut FD and two reasonable overcards, I don't think you can fold here.

This is a strange play by the villian. If we checked the flop behind why wouldn't we check the turn behind on a blank? If they see you as tight, this may be a bluff. We are getting 5:1, and our overcards may be good, not to mention flush draw . . . and the fact that we are agaisnt the BB, I think a call is warranted

We're a TAG. She probably sees us as aggressive enough to try to steal on the turn.

I would bet that this is not a bluff ever. A player who does not raise AK pre and we have not noted is dangerous is not going to get all tricky on the turn. Best case, she only has Ac2d or something like that.

I would probably call with puke in my gob but I would expect to be shown *at worst* the ace of clubs and more likely the made flush. I definitely wouldn't give the FD full value in this spot and I'd discount my OCs too. I don't think we can fold but I'm not liking calling much.

I think you give your hand far too much away by not betting the flop. As a preflopraiser your opponent will typically put you on the hand you have or better. Often he will fold a middlepair to a bet here because he think he may already be behind to a bigger pair or he may loose to a flush.
You're going to the end with this hand anyway and it is not even a made hand. So try a bet here and possibly buy a free card if he does call.

A squeezer just checkraised me on the turn in a live game.

There's also like two bets in the pot.

There are five bets in the pot btw, but I expect to see the nuts pretty often here so I muck and don't spazcheck the flop again.
