I allin Flop 789r with 9Q [/ QUOTE ] LOL maniac. The hand: I will assume you all have 100bb stacks. Preflop is fine obviously. Flop check is also good. Lead turn for about 1$ and get value from flushdraws, weak aces and eights (yes eights). Calling the minbet when the action gets back to you is terrible. Raise to 3/4 pot. And keep raising till you got no monies left. |

Re: how to play this hand?
That's true, I play this badly. Why I am AI is because there are 1 betters(min-bet) & 1 caller.
BTW, your analysis is very resourceful! |

Re: how to play this hand?
The flop check is ok, I push the turn here and cry when villain shows his slowplayed AQ or KQ.
I might reraise here preflop depending on how villain plays..What does his minraise mean? Is he raising up everthing.. normally I might fold Q/Jo in the sb but it really depends on how villain plays. Q/Jo is a pretty weak hand and you're playing out of position for the rest of the hand, you know villain is agressive so why not raise it here.. you got any other reads on villain to help make a better preflop decision? |

[/ QUOTE ] This is all bad advice. (except for the flop check bit) Are you seriously saying hero should push over buttons minbet? Even pushing over BB's last raise would be kinda bad. (Assuming full stacks) Reraising preflop would also usually be bad. Raising the first time would be better, attacking buttons weak limp, and hoping to steal it preflop. Also, normally folding QJ in the SB in an unraised pot is very bad. Folding to a minbet is also bad. (Though folding QJ to a 4bb raise would be usually be okay) |

But I would reraise the QJ if I've got a read on villain that he raises with any two cards. I agree I was was wrong on saying he should push the turn, but if you want to call there you'll have to take stack sizes in consideration right? If you're deepstacked it'd be better to fold and wait for a better spot? |
