Default Is Curtis Martin a definite HOFer?

I've assumed he was a lock, but today I hear that obnoxious moron Erik Kuselias saying he doesn't belong, that the NFL HOF is reserved for the elite of the elite, and Martin is just a 'compiler' who was never the best RB in the league.

Is he crazy, or onto something?

Rundown: 4th in all-time rushing yards, 11th in rushing TDs, 5 Pro Bowls, 1 rushing title, no rings, one SB appearance. Good character guy, amazing work ethic, but not a real dynamic personality.

Correct me if I'm wrong:

Pro Football HOF inducts about five or six guys every year.
Baseball HOF lets in one or two guys every year.

The Baseball HOF has been around a lot longer, therefore it has a lot more players in it. The Football HOF has a lot of "catching up" to do with older players. Many of the players they are inducting every year are older players, not guys that retired recently. The baseball HOF has already inducted all those older players over time. So in a sense, that makes the football HOF much more exclusive.

He is crazy. CuMa is a lock.

It seems like forever ago, but he won the rushing title in 2004 (maybe Alexander should have eeked him out by a yard - but that doesn't mean it wasn't deserving).
