Which NBA player will have the best career?
When it's all said and done and we're at their HOF inductions, who will we look back upon and say, "Well, they were all great, but ____ had the best career, taking into account dominance, peak ability, longevity, and championships."?
Note that you could probably add a few other people to this list (Chris Paul, KG, AI etc, but I think these would be the highest five players): |

Re: Which NBA player will have the best career?
my vote goes to shaq...i mean, the others players are very good no doubt...but when it comes to pure dominance...the others don't match up...

Re: Which NBA player will have the best career?
If any of the other four guys had their career go about as well as possible it would probably be about equal to what Shaq has done so far.

Re: Which NBA player will have the best career?
This poll is ridiculous.
One of these guys was the most dominant center of his era. won 4 Rings. The next Best is Duncan, with 3 rings and was almost as dominant. Kobe and Wade both will have to win a title w/o the best player of our era on the team with them. Lebron has the potential to be Jordan. |

Re: Which NBA player will have the best career?
anyone else think its funny how OP threw Chris Paul's name out there with these other guys?
It's clearly Shaq at the moment, it could be Kobe or Lebron in the end. Thats about all anyone can really say. |

Re: Which NBA player will have the best career?
Shaq and its not even close. Maybe if something drastic happens over the next years, Duncan can jump ahead of Shaq, but it would have to be drastic. To assume that Lebron or Dwade is going to win 4 or 3 rings respectively is really asking a lot. Oh and Kobe...eh I think the jury is still out, but he is only 28 so he has a shot.
