Is it normal to start trick or treating at 5 PM? I haven't even sat down for dinner and my wife hasn't come home with the candy yet. I recall going out around 6:30 or 7 at the earliest when I was younger. Anyone else surprised how early people are showing up this year?

Turn your front porch light off? [/ QUOTE ] I have no control over my porch light. I live in an apt complex and they are always on. |

I remember when I went out for trick or treating it was, you know, dark outside. And without my parents driving me to each house. Can't do that these days, I guess.

[/ QUOTE ] Remember, evil lurks in the dark and around every corner these days; at least, if you listen to the sensationalist media it does. This isn't the 50s when everyone was completely safe as long as they weren't black, Asian, American Indian, Middle Eastern or female. SpaceAce |

I can't remember, but didn't the clocks use to get rolled back after Holloween instead of before?

Man I can't believe you are bitching about the trick or treaters. I wish more would come to my apartment. I get a kick out of the costumes.
