Stars $10/180: Somewhat-Risky Push on the Bubble
Button hasn't been at the table for long. I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary from him.
There are 19 players remaining, so this is a bona-fide bubble situation. Because of this, I really liked my chances of taking the pot without a fight (while increasing my stack by about 28%) Although the button has me covered, I can really hurt him if he calls and loses. I don't see but a very few hands he'd be willing to call with. Who likes my move, given the situation I've described? If this weren't a bubble situation, I obviously push this every single time. Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t600/t1200 (Ante: t75) 6 players Converter Seat 3: Small Blind (9259 in chips) Seat 4: Hero (24545 in chips) Seat 5: MP1 (1030 in chips) Seat 7: MP2 (13599 in chips) Seat 8: CO (15325 in chips) Seat 9: Button (31546 in chips) Small Blind: posts the ante 75 Hero: posts the ante 75 MP1: posts the ante 75 MP2: posts the ante 75 CO: posts the ante 75 Button: posts the ante 75 Small Blind: posts small blind 600 Hero: posts big blind 1200 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 folds, Button raises to t4800, SB folds, Hero raises all-in t24470, |

Wow, just wow, possibly easiest shove ever? This being the bubble should make you MORE likely to push, not less.

Could find a fold against some opponents, but you've got lotta FE here against a bigstack who'd rather nurse his stack.
Nice move. |

All-in is fine. You are ahead against his range. Especially the situtation you described above makes this push madatory in this situtation.
