Why are poker playing actors not stepping up to the plate?
I mean Jennifer Tilly, James Woods, Matt Damon, Toby McGuire, Wil Wheaton, Ben Affleck, Shannon Elizabeth and countless others.
Why won't these actors make a stand here? They have such huge exposure to the cameras and the public, but I don't see them helping out here. Any thoughts? Les

A high profile actor along with an invalid or grandmother whose leisure activity is now deemed criminal would be worth much more than any lobbying of the PPA or other organization. Before the passage of this bill I advocated such, to deaf ears. Ben Affleck bringing this injustice to the attention of the populace would give us a fighting chance, otherwise there is little hope.

Where are poker spokesmen such as Doyle Brunson? I have not heard much from anyone on our side on this issue.
