Tina Fey\'s sitcom
30 Rock or something like that...just saw it....
Not very good. Fey seems quite uncomfortable being the star, it was somewhat well-written, if a little stupid, and they completely had no idea about the rules of poker in a poker scene. Alec Baldwin was kick-ass though. |

Re: Tina Fey\'s sitcom
I was suprised that I kind of liked the first couple episodes. Was expecting worse. This one wasn't very good though.
Alec is great. He doesn't play it typical over the top alec like you would expect. --- Tina: What made you think I was gay? Alec: Your shoes. Tina: Well I'm straight. Alec: Well those shoes are definitely bi-curious. --- Alec: She said you reminded her of Jennifer Jason Leigh. Tina: Really? Alec: Yes. I made her repeat it. I thought for sure she meant Jason Lee. |

Re: Tina Fey\'s sitcom
Tina Fey is horrible.
30 Rock is average at best. Alec Baldwin is a demi-god. |

I've liked all the episodes so far.
I'm enjoying 30 Rock a lot more than Studio 60. DN |

After seeing 30 Rock for the first time last night, it looks like I picked the wrong one. |

Re: Tina Fey\'s sitcom
1. Speaking of Alec Baldwin, I just sent "Nuremburg" back to NetFlix. Classic Alec Baldwin, but Brian Cox as Goering steals the show (I had never heard of Cox before he joined Deadwood, but as others here have asserted, he's the MAN).
2. OK, how many of you watched "30 Rock" this week because the episode was about poker? <---(raises hand) |

Re: Tina Fey\'s sitcom
I didn't see the last episode, because I just don't like the show right now. Fey and Morgan are trying way too hard to be funny. Maybe they'll get a little more comfortable with time. But right now, watching them is like watching a cat being strangled.
Remember that MASH & Seinfeld were marginal shows threatening to be cancelled after their first season, so who knows where this show might go. But they've got a lot of work to do. |

Re: Tina Fey\'s sitcom
I was hoping it would be good because I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Tina Fey, but have been disappointed so far. Writing is decent but acting is awful.

Re: Tina Fey\'s sitcom
this show is still 10 times better than studio 60 ... FNL is still the winner this season though.
