50NL Ten-Duece hits Trips
Home game last night. .25/.50 blinds
Hero is BB with 102 Offsuit. 4 Limpers and the SB completes, I beleive it was UTG, MP1, MP2, CO, and SB. Everyone has over $30 and I think MP2 has 80+. EDIT::::::: I believe at this point we were 8-9 handed. Flop: A 10 10 Rainbow. ($2.50 in pot) UTG Bets $3, MP1 Calls, MP2 raises to $6, SB Folds, Hero Folds. What do you guys think? |

Re: 50NL Ten-Duece hits Trips
Do you have reads?
I'm raising again to see where we're at. Any ace could have made those bets. Even if you run into another 10 there's a good chance of chopping. |

Re: 50NL Ten-Duece hits Trips
if you arent playing on that flop, why are you calling pre?
EDIT: Whoops, missed the fact that you are BB. Still, I'm playing that all day long unless I see significant strength, allins, half stack bets, i dont even know, and I'm still not auto folding. |

Re: 50NL Ten-Duece hits Trips
I actually went to the bathroom hahaha thats why I wasnt able to lead into the pot, they just checked for me.
Also, I am playing with pretty significant noobs and i didnt see anyoen raising with worse then AK, so it was either AK or a higher 10, I ahd a feeling it was a higher ten, later it came to a showdown and it was K10 that took the hand. |

Re: 50NL Ten-Duece hits Trips
Good fold IMO when it comes down to it you need to evaluate your kickers in spots like this and you cant get any worse than a deuce...
I fold here rather than praying for a split action says your beat so believe it... But you need to be leading here anyways to find out where your at... (hard to do while in another room) Isnt it bad practice to leave the table in the middle of a hand that you are actually involved in... ? |
