Default Petty Crypto Thievery

So we all know the Cryptos locked out us US players, and then we were put at ECashDirect's mercy regarding getting our funds back. Well, get this: they have now taken it upon themselves to help themselves to the $1 withdrawal fee.

I got e-mail in the past two days from ECashDirect with the details of my payments from Interpoker and PokerPlex, and both checks are short a buck!

Just petty...

If I admit I am, will you just humor me and say "Yeah, that sux," and we'll all go on with our lives?

I say it's petty because it's not the skins that decided to lock out the US players. It was ECashDirect that decided they didn't want to handle transactions from US players. So they force us to cash out, but still take their cut when they do so.

I know a buck's not a lot of money, it's the principle.

ECashDirect didn't just start charging the $1 fee. That fee has always been there.

The point being that it seems kind of sleazy to still take out the $1 fee when they're the ones forcing us to withdraw.

I had that same thought when I got my confirming e-mail.

I think I'd feel the same way I did about not being able to withdraw all my money - these are the people who gave me $90 to play 5 hours, how can I be upset about a small amount?

Unless you lost your entire Crypto bankroll, you were going to cashout money at some point, anyway. It was either pay the $1 fee now or later.

I don't like the fee, either, but unless they are just taking it on to make another buck per transaction (which I doubt), I don't really care all that much about helping them cover their transaction costs. Better that than pay more rake.

yeah it sucks ...

but what do you expect from ppl who lock your account overnight, no warning etc.

you have to wait for weeks for a check for the money you deposited with neteller. they didn't even give you a choice to withdraw to neteller.

looks like helping themselves to $1 fee was not even the worst of their brilliant business decisions.

Well they screwed me out of over $40 on my currency exchange, then insist that that was the true currency exchange rate on that date, despite me supplying them with documents to the contrary.

I didn't even try to find the missing dollar.

Meh, in my case they are giving me $12 too much according to my records of what I should have gotten back.
