A TPTK hand vs a aggressive villain.
Villain is mrcall912, a very aggressive player. We played a similar pot yesterday, although that time I folded to his river shove. Also like 2 mins earlier I got got stacked w/ TT when i 3bet another guy AI on a 6s5s4d board.
The turn card makes this hand pretty interesting imho. Should I fold somewhere? Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com BB ($18003.40) UTG ($4900) MP ($14178.88) CO ($9427.70) Hero ($4925) SB ($4950) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $25. 3 folds, Hero raises to $175, SB (poster) calls $150, 1 fold. Flop: ($400) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets $400, Hero calls $400. Turn: ($1200) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets $1200, Hero calls $1200. Re: A TPTK hand vs a aggressive villain.
How was his bet timing? Usually when he donkbets into you strong and keeps firing in a mechanical way he is strong.

Re: A TPTK hand vs a aggressive villain.
Jma,
Flop and turn looks good. I don't think he's shoving without a stronger hand. I'd look him up if another rag fell. |

Re: A TPTK hand vs a aggressive villain.
I hate it. I don't like calling down with a pair of 9's here to vul. to overcards if he is bluffing with them and puts u in tuff spots later in the hand. Lets him play perfect. I would call down if u hit the ace tho. Only hands u beat are 86s and 78s(or some outta left field lead into pfr to rep a set bluff) that is trying to push u off a better hand. As played I won't fold at this point since we got all the way to river so I call. Trap villian in better spot
