Default $50nl, AK makes tptk and ropes a dope

I was 80% certain that he had AQ since he called my co open a few hands back with AJ, and a nine wasn't very much in his range. Should I be checkraising river here sometimes? What if I had JT[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]?

Learn how to put people on a range of hands.

IF you are 80% certain he has AQ, of course you get it all-in somewhere. Why wouldn't you? You win 60% of the time at the least then. DoUCY?

What makes you think he has exactly AQ? I would probably lead the turn and then c/c the river.

It was a feeling that's all. He liked to call my raises with Ax so I after he bet turn I thought his range was mostly AQ, some AK, less often AJ and a small chance of AA,9x now i've thought about it some more. I think he'd pfrr AK,AA,check turn with kk,qq,jj.

Turn check was to represent A-rag or spades, then river check was to let him bet his AJ/K/Q and get a call from my ace-rag.

If you were villian and bet river like villian did, and I checkraised, what would you call with? I think if I had [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]'s a river c-r as played might be a convincing aa/9x

If you think he call your raises with Ax why do you dismiss A9 over AQ?

Does he play trips like this?

Have you seen him call a raise in position with hands like T9?

The trickiest I get at nl50 is c/c turn and lead river for ~2/3 pot. You are beating every Ace except A9. Villians at this level won't float you with 66 or 22 on that flop so I think the chance of that is slim.

Villian's small river bet screams TPNK. This is where I don't know what to do. Does he fold Ax to a decent c/r? This could be a bad play if he's only going to call with 9x.
