Default Juiciness of Sites : post legistlation

wondering how everybody is finding the ring games at US friendly sites.

I played a bit at poker stars at 100nl and my god its a rock garden. even with increased traffic it seems really tight. I guess their deposit limits make it hard for bigger fish to just dump cash on to site to play higher games it seems. sux....

dont know about FTP yet.

Im canadian so i played a bit at party. im sad to tell the us players... the ring game is still 100 hundred times better than pokerstars. less traffic but the players are still just as lagtardy. still calling off stacks with mid pr. they have a 50% bonus right now too.

i know its too soon to tell but it look like party poker is still running best games. personally i think the pokerstars interface sux. especially the table selection tool. i like party's filter that allows you to zero in what you want.

anyways feedback appreciated as we all adjust to the changes in our world

Hypothesis: as it becomes more difficult for U.S. players to deposit, those players tighten up (maybe not even conscious they are doing so) in an effort to conserve bankroll. An unintended result is that they become even more vulnerable to the EuroLAGS. Maybe the rock garden effect you are seeing on PokerStars is this tightening up of U.S. players?

I think this is a bit uncalled for. Just because the players in the US (of which I am one) are pissed at Party, doesn't mean we have the right to start ripping on players from other countries.

Anyways.. for the people who had constructive responses to my post... I think the deposit limits may be causing poker stars to be even tighter. I can only think that their deposit system ensures that the players at the higher limits are the ones who were able to make their bankroll grow. meaning they are better than average.

even with the influx of new players it is unlikely that losing players can buy in at higher limits. and i mean $600 daily limit is really really low. practically useless at 200nl and above.

Partypoker, even without US players still seems to be good. I am actually noticing the influx of new Euro and Canadian players at the tables creating high action games as usual party standards. dont count on party bombing.

I feel so far that the disappearance of US multi tablers have so far counter-balanced the absence of US fish. it makes sense: for every 40 fish playing one table there may be one US 12 tabler which distorts the effect of US pros on the game. in a B & M game there may be 40 fish and 1 pro. online its 40 fish versus 1 pro times 12 tables. so multitabler pros cause seroius dilution of fish pool. im not trying to make fun of US players, (althoug its very easy becuz of their largely ignorant government), im just trying to analyze the current state.

i think its to the benefit of all players US and non-Us, to know which way things are going.

and for the guy who ripped on me for saying party poker was still good.... the BEST site is the JUICIEST site. PERIOD. unless ur in the business of trying to make the least amount of money possible.

Just gambling... and phone conversations... and e-mail... and due process... but at least we now have the right to be parched at the airport.

I'm not upset at all that I can't play at Party. I called him an idiot because even the brits who can still play their are crazy to do so. Now you have the worst card room on the net without all the traffic that had everyone playing there. When the op taunts us about something that he shouldn't be happy about...well that makes him an idiot. All I did was apply the label.
