Default *Official* Suggestions for Stars Thread

I dunno why nobody's made this yet. Looks like lots of us are moving to Stars, and looks like Stars is interested in what we have to say, so I think we should gather all our suggestions into one thread.

Anyway, post your suggestions for PokerStars here. Hopefully Lee'll read it.

Edit: Also, we really want Lee Jones to read this thread and take it seriously. In order to encourage him to do so, please don't complain about how Stars is rigged or ask for things that Lee's already said he won't do (like rakeback).

Software is too slow, so speed it up. It shouldn't be too hard to fix, and it would also mean more money to them.

Default Dont change Stars sitngoes structure!

Actual structure is fine, sure its still a crapshoot sometimes, but far less than those speed tourneys on party.

30-35 minutes is not a lot of time!!!

I dont mind givin some equity for lower variance...

Hopefully the ps sitngoes wont only interest party winning players

please please please lee speed up the deal

also support for multi tabling would be amazing. why not develop a PokerStars specific gamepad and send it to all VIPs...then they just plug in via USB and are good to go.

We are reviewing dealing speeds at all the major sites; you definitely got our attention on that.

Note, though, that our deal is extremely fast. It may just be the animation that's bugging you. Until we're done with our research, you may find that turning off animation (In the main lobby: Options -> Animation) will solve the problem for you.

Best regards,
Lee Jones

Very nice. How about also addressing the many requests about partial FPPs?

We would rather have a clear no from your side than the silence we meet everytime we request this.

At least we would know there is no hope ahead.

Hi William -
We realize that many of our lower-limit NLH players feel that they're not getting much benefit from the FPP program. I don't know if we will start counting partial FPPs, but yes, we're listening. We are considering ways to address that, but obviously whatever we do will have big implications across the whole FPP program. We want to come up with the right solution the first time.

Best regards,
Lee Jones

I agree that the deal itself is quite fast; competitive at least. It's the interstitial times that get somewhat painful, especially posting the antes in order in Stud games. Add this to autoposting being significantly slower than other sites and a quite long delay for the pot to be shipped and there's a lot of time between hands.

I just counted and there are five full seconds between the winner of a hand being determined and the start of the next hand. That's extremely slow and should be fairly easy to speed up.

Edit: by the start of the next hand I mean when SB is asked to post. That five seconds is all pot-shipping time.

This is spot on, please read this Lee. Deal is very fast without animation but the all-in's and time between hands etc is what slows things down a lot compared to other sites.
