Default PokerStars VIP News

Amazon made a business decision to no longer supply Amazon.com US gift
certificate codes to PokerStars. This will not effect gift codes for
Amazon in Canada, Germany and the UK. The Amazon.com items will remain in
the VIP Store while the current supply lasts.

We have new VIP reward bonuses in the VIP Store available immediately and
are exploring other gift certificate options for our US players.

PlatinumStar VIP

Supernova VIP

VIP Freerolls will be restructured for 2007. New rewards will be
introduced for Supernova players that hit 200K, 300K, 400K, 500K, and 750K
VPPs from January 2007.

We are also considering to introduce soon a special new category of
Supernova Elite for players who hit 1M VPP (yes we have a few players who
either reached this level or will reach soon).

Only 1995 FPP's for $285???????

It was like 1700 FPP's for a $25 amazon card, this has to be a mistake.

I'm an idiot. 25,000 FPP's to buy the bonus, then 1995 base FPP's to release the $285.

wow 25000 fpps for a 285 bonus? you have to be a real sucker to buy that considering 25000 fpps are worth 425ish dollars... atleast offer the bonus at a decent price if you're going to offer it.

if you play the 5400fpp 1 table turbo sats if you have any skill at all you will easily do better than 285$/25000 fpps.

You are confusing the purchase price with the number of points to actually receive the bonus. It will cost far more than 1995 points to 'purchase' the bonus, then another 1995 to actually receive it.

Edit: You figured it out while I typed this.
