This took place in the second hour of the Stars $3R 20K guaranteed. I had a stack of ~20K and was opening a lot of pots and stealing my fair share of blinds, and had good image (I'd tripled up off KK in a five-way allin after donking it up to get my stack.)
Anyways, this is at 75-150, so I'm extremely deepstacked, I don't have the HH but can recall to the action. Hero is UTG+1 with red KK 1 fold, Hero raises to 650 (had been my standard open raise), folds to CO (who covers) who reraises 2350, making it 3K to go. Villain had been kind of laggy and accumulated his stack on by sticking it in a dog and hitting, but had been playing some pots and getting people to make mistakes to add to his stack. I will stop the HH as I played and open for discussion now. What's my line, facing the reraise of 2350? |

Instamuck [/ QUOTE ] What?? OP, why are you open raising to 650? I probably flat call his reraise and see what happens on the flop. |

What is villain's stack?
This is generally a reraise, but a reraise looks pot committing, so of you don't think a reraise will be called it is possible to flat call. |

Skier, 650 has just been my opening raise. I don't know why really, it's just what I was doing.
Betgo, this is one of the thing's I'm not sure of. I think it was between 25-30K. |

Repop to 7.5-8, decide whether to call the shove. This isn't always AA.
He flatcalls, push non-A flops (~12k into a 16k pot, give or take quibbling hundreds.) |

[/ QUOTE ] This is kind of what I was thinking. I repopped to 6.8K (is this too little compared to 7.5K?) and villain flatcalled. Flop is 789, two hearted. For some idiotic reason, instead of shoving my remaining stack in I lead for ~8K. Discuss any problems you see with my two moves here? I think I'm making the mistake of telling villain that I'm not folding, and by doing so, miss my option to either get him to bet at it by checking, or making my play standard with to not really define how strong my hand is. |
