Default Desperate Housewives interview = lowest moment in MNF history

Has this program ever been worse?

random pop culture interviews have been a part of MNF forever. Nothing new happened here.

This is not a "random pop culture interview". This is ABC/Disney's sickening continuous use of sports to cross-promote its product, to the detriment of the broadcast and the sports fan.

not only that, they continue to pick products that no self-respecting football fan would ever be interested in. it's one thing if they bring the stars of lost in, but much worse to get soap opera actors and discuss the plot of their show that no male watches.

I think ESPN employees and execs should be forced to watch New Balance commercials over and over and over and over

I always love (by "love," I mean hate with the heat of a thousand suns) the 'accidental' celebrity sightings during a sports broadcast. Jim Nantz does this crap all the time.

"Hey, what do you know, there's Ray Romano in the stands. You know, Everybody Loves Raymond returns this week on Tusedays blah blah blah..."

Somebody kill me.

Middle aged married men. There were 2 of these guys who used to sit besides me in the office, and they would always be talking about DH the day after.

Also, the nfl claims that almost 50% of their audience is female. I go to the bar every sunday, and excluding the waitresses, at least 80% of the crowd is guys, so I don't know how true this is. I personally only know a couple women who are nfl junkies.

Yeah, but there are probably a lot more who sit in the same room as their husbands when MNF is on (even if they are just reading a magazine, they may look up when their TV show is on).

despite the weak setup, I thought their banter wasn't half bad. maybe i'm just too used to listening to the MMA fighters talk.
