Tell me stuff about going to Shanghai.
I don't like answering questions, so just tell me stuff.
I don't travel and I hate to fly. I have flown commercial 3 times, twice to Vegas and once to Portland. Going to Shanghai at the end of Nov. (dates tenative still). I am going with my wife of course, who grew up there, but tell me things anyway. I am not chinese (or black or jewish).

Thailand, Shanghai, [20 other random places]. There so needs to be a travel forum. But the only advice I can give is if you don't know what it is, don't eat it.

if random people on the street come up to talk to you just walk away, it's a scam.
GO to the cloud 9 bar on top of the grand hyatt. Best view I've ever seen. Shanghai's got a great view but the people blow. Just don't trust anyone.

I dunno about now but it was very humid and smoggy a few months ago and a bit too hot

It has cooled considerably though this past month and when we go in late Nov/early Dec., the rains will be coming. This should help the air quality and limit street pedestrian traffic (I don't mind walking in the rain at all). The wife has informed my that I will be buying no hot chicks drinks except her.
