I can't find the damn article that I just read about two hours ago.....I've read so many.

It was an article about Barclays UK dropping ties with Neteller.

Really, I might have to drop my ties with neteller then please find the article. Neteller must be a bit short at the moment as well..

Not true.

Anyway, that "plan" would constitute a violation of just about every T&C for every online poker room and casino out there.

Right now, it looks most likely that the worst that may happen is that US banks and credit card companies will block deposits into third party companies, like neteller and firepay. The "work-around" for this is called bankroll management. Keep your working bankroll online, withdrawing as needed. It's unlikely that US banks and credit card companies will block incoming $$ from these third party money movers.

Planning to play at sites from the US that have barred players from the US isn't a good idea. There are plenty of other sites out there to play at.

I might be wrong, but it is my understanding that proxies like the one mentioned in the post only hide the IP address when surfing, not of a program that resides on your pc.

I would be very leary of any schemes to change addresses, open canadian PO boxes, etc, at this time. I think I will post on a different forum on this later.
