Game is 3-handed. Both my opponents are fairly poor players IMO. They are sometimes over-aggressive with marginal hands and also call down too much when they are almost surely toast.
I bring-in with (J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img])3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], P1 completes with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] up, P2 cold calls with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], and I elect to just call. 4th: P1: (xx)4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] P2: (xx)6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ME: (J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img])3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] P1 bets, P2 raises, I 3-bet, P1 cold calls, and P2 caps. 5th: P1: (xx)4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] P2: (xx)6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ME: (J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img])3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] P2 checks, I bet, P1 raises, P2 cold calls, and I 3-bet...too much? Note: P2 is bad enough that he would never check/cold-call a full house here. |

considering who your opponents are call 5th, wait till you see a P1 blank on 6th street, then have fun.

i'm not sure anyone's gonna be able suggest the right course of action here as it seems like a lot hinges on the assessment of ur opponents, and it sounds like ur very confident in ur reads, so i guess ur the only one who can judge whether ur play was correct.
from ur post, it looks as if ur sayin that there's no way ur behind, so i guess if that's the case the reraise on 5th is ok. however, i'd be inclined to slow down if there's any doubt over those reads... actually i'd probably slow down anyway if i know for sure the reraise won't fold P1. i'd hate to put in all that money on 5th just for P1 to catch another club on 6th. but then again, i'm a wuss! |

I'm good for ordering wine, not tricky stud hands Answer: depends on the board of course, if the board was safe I am betting and I might even welcome a raise if P1 is a total idiot, if P2 improves I might check again, sometimes a free card is cheaper than a bet.
