Default March on the capital??? Who\'s with me??

Listen, I'm no David Sklansky or whatever but I'm not ready to sit around and watch Bush sign this [censored] next week without a little fight...Couldn't we get the PPA or somebody to organize a march on the capital next week? Hell, I'd be there with signs and everything....

Democracy was well served. The Republican party built up a majority coalition and part of that coalition got legislation passed that was important to it.

Marches in Washington D.C. can't get whipped up in a week. Regardless, President Bush wants to sign this bill. Of course, he wants to sign it primarily for the far more improtant port security stuff. The internet gambling ban is just a bonus for him.

I'd focus your efforts on something which can make a difference.

The only way this could work is if poker players hooked up with the illegal immigrants and Louis Farahkan (of 1 million man march fame) in a multi-purpose rally. If the Senators can attach the bill to a bill poker players can certainly attach themselves to bigger groups, even if we don't agree with those groups. Viva online pokah!!!!!
