Default Flop texture experiment (discussionesque )

This is inspired by the HOH chapter on how the flop texture relates to various hands and so I thought I'll see what happens...
maybe some interesting situations will pop up for discussion.

Not sure if this will work at all -but worth a try - Mods delete if appropriate.

Reply to the previous post with two flops that are good for the hand in question and two that are bad and WHY they're good or bad.

Then post a new hand for the next poster. Quoting the previous hand is probably best.

I'll start

Interesting thread munkey, let's see where this goes.

K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Good flops:

Qxx because they all go broke with a Q
AKx because there may not be a flop that makes more money

Bad flops:

Axx because he called our massive preflop reraise with A2o
xsxsxs because we're either a small favourite, dead or drawing to the second nuts that we can't hard even if we hit.

Edit: Whoops! I'll learn to read one day.

good: [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]x flush draw and if we're the PFR and bet this flop they will probably pay us off if they have a smaller flush(deception).

good2 : kxxr safe dry board weaker kings can pay us off, if villan reraises alot -they prob have set 2pair and we can get away cheaply.

bad1: KQJr we have TPTK but villans play any two broadway and can have 2pair alot time.

bad2: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] we have TPTK but no heart so anyone holding a heart has 9 outs to beat us.

( I think I beat you to it Kaz -been practicing donkaments too much? )

DOH I've really lost it today - losing 20$ to overlapped misclicks, misreading the small pairs post -inventing the 55 hand yet I ran at 12PTBB. Srry all.

Good flops -
ATx with every chance of stacking an overenthusiastic Ax where x > T
TTx although this does kill the board somewhat so we have to hope villain overplays his pp

Bad flops

Axx because we have a middling kicker, especially bad OOP
Txx because its so vulnerable and we're unlikely to ever win a big pot but there's big potential to lose them

Ok. Let's make the next one a bit harder -

Good flops:

ATx Great because here we'll get paid by AK-AJ.
Txx[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] TPTK + nutflush draw, what more can one ask?

Bad flops:

Axx Here we just lose our money ot bigger aces.
T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] We have TPTK but but over half the deck is going to hurt us on turn.

Next patient:
