Bump.
Also wondering about peak hours and time-drop. Capped/uncapped buyins? How big do games play etc. |

I guess not many people are thinking what we're thinking.

the 10-25 runs insanely deep, there are more than a few people sitting with over $20,000. The 5-10 I've often seen it as quite fishy and a lagfest.

Is the 10/25 a tough game?

Re: expected hourly earn NL $1k and $2k Foxwoods/others
I don't know, I once saw a guy limp AK and fold it on a Kxx to a pottish bet because it "wasn't worth it."
...and he was Asian .......And right. It might be different now but the 5-5 was insanely tough --Frankly I don't think the 10-25 is really a poker game, I've only dealt it a few times but it seems like a bunch of kids who are too scared to do anything, sooooooo often are you sitting on a 10 minute hand because some guy bet like 3k on the river, or it's like "If I bet only $500 would you call here I'll take the rest back." I think only a few really feel comfortable with the money in that game, and those players are certainly very tough. |

Those are not "online only" forums. That is where these discussion belong. Honestly, there isn't much in the way of strategy in this one at all. Those threads that do appear once in awhile get moved anyways. |

Re: expected hourly earn NL $1k and $2k Foxwoods/others
I average about 75 - 100/hr playing 2/5, 5/5, and 5/10 (1k-2k max buys) in the NYC clubs and Borgata. I've never played Foxwoods, but I asume they play the same, except the 2/5 at woods is 500 max.
The bigger games like 10/25, 25/50 are uncapped and play much bigger when the table is live. They can also be total rock gardens with everyone afraid to put any money in. Game selection live is a totally different art, no buddy lists or PT to use, you have to be creative, play all the games. You aren't going to make it just playing Live NLHE, unless you travel the circut or know of some very good games that have alot of new blood coming in. The fish go broke fast. Some of my best customers are 7 figure loosers over the past few years. |
