Default The Fishtank: Kazana

I thought it might be interesting to have something similar to "The Well" at SSNL, which proved to be very popular.

But since the better players are answering questions there, it might be interesting to hear what we fishier fellas have to say over here...

If the mods don't like this, feel free to lock & delete this thread. I won't feel insulted.

Let's start with a background story:

A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of. He is shown a fishtank and his guide says "On any day except Wednesday, you can tap the glass, ask any question into that fishtank and you'll be told the answer" .

The man seems pretty impressed, and so he taps the glass and shouts into the tank: Why not on Wednesday? and the voice from in the fishtank shouts back: Because on Wednesday, it’s your day in the tank."

If you were stranded on a deserted island and you could pick, would you take a Mermaid with fishes bottom part of the body or a fish with woman's bottom part of the body? [Couldn't find the picture to illustrate it]

I'd settle for the Mermaid with the fish bottom part.
I'd rather have someone I can talk to but not have sex with, than the other way around. And if we should feel like getting it on, we could still pretend to be Monica & Bill.

I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again. I did not have sexual relations with that mermaid, Mermaid Lewinsky.

I didn't realize men talked to women for anything than other than getting into their pants. Therefore, I opt for the Human bottom, and fish top.

I started playing early March of this year.
I started playing seriously about 1 month later with a BR of $100.
For the first few $100s I built it playing limit (.05/.1 up to .5/1) while clearing a few boni, and adding about $50-$100 per month to my roll from my paycheck.

After about 2 1/2 months I switched to NL (10 & 25 fullring), then a short while later, from FR to 6-max.
From mid August to mid September I was looking for a new job, so I had plenty of time to play (and ran fairly well) and blasted my way through $25 and almost completely through $50.

Currently, I'm busy moving up to $100NL 6-max. I'm keeping roughly break-even so far. Mostly playing badly when running normal and running badly when playing good. As soon as I run AND play well, I should be able to establish myself permanently.

Hello.

What kind of hands do you like to raise with out of the blinds when, say, two people limp?

Out of the blinds, I tend to raise the same hands that I'd open raise with in early position plus some more:
always: any pp, AJ+, KQ
often: ATs, KJs
If the table feels right (fairly passive, but paying off often), I might add some more SCs to the mix (87s and up).
