Villian is relatively tight 25/6. I doubt he's making a move here. My image is LAG. I checked the turn bc villian won't call with worse than A on the turn or a raise on the flop.
I RR occasionally here. Absolute Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $668.10 UTG+1: $463.30 CO: $89.50 Button: $385.55 Hero: $418.70 BB: $102.75 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $10, 2 folds, Hero calls, BB folds. Re: AK
I question folding the river getting 3:1 on my money. I would certainly expect to see AJ or JJ from the villain here, but there just aren't enough ways to have those two hands to make me lay down for only $65 in a $200 pot. Especially if your image is LAG like you say. Of course, if your image is LAG I think your flop/turn reasoning is incorrect.

[/ QUOTE ] calling the river is really bad without a read, there just arent that many people capable of bluff raising a fairly mundane river. also, villains play matches AJ/JJ pretty perfectly, if this is a bluff its a damn good one. |
