Yeah I'd definitely be interested. I don't know how to go about getting a new game set up at a casino though.

[/ QUOTE ] Talk to a floor but if they won't put one down have them introduce you to Poker Room Manager Rick Cloward. He can often be found on the floor playing (or should I say donking off a rack) in 6/12 Ohaha/8 about 1:30pm weekdays. Rick loves mixed games and has tried to get them going at the 10/20 level (BTW, they do go at the very high levels, e.g., 300/600 i.e. Yosh's game). My guess is Rick will try to help you but the low level props will groan because they will get stuck in it. IMO one problem is many games don't collect well at the low limits. A classic example is stud/8 or better. With a typical ante of 50 cents and a drop of $3 (let's say no jackpot for mixed games) you still end up with too many heads up pots where the pot is chopped. Now the players become very drop concious, where in a single winner game the drop isn't so obvious. This isn't a problem at the 20/40 level, where the drop is only one ante (as opposed to almost all the antes). Still, I'd put the odds of keeping a sustained 3/6 mix game (i.e., goes every day for at least six months without much prop help) as 10 to 1 against. ~ Rick PS A small mix game with NL Holdem and NL Omaha High (Pot limit Omaha may be over the dealers head in the 3/6 rotation) may be something that would work. PPS Why am I writing this, I don't even work at the Bike anymore! |

[/ QUOTE ] Do you know if they have changed the rotation or are you speculating? When I was at the Bike almost all 3-6 games (all the 3-6 Omaha/8 and most of the 3-6 Holdem) where in the top rotation). It could be such a thing that the growth of poker has pushed 3-6 into the bottom rotation. |

I notice 4/8 is a lot more popular than 3/6, so that may be where the split is these days. They also may have three rotations, I haven't really looked lately. ~ Rick |

Re: low limit mixed games at bike
It might be easier to get the casino to start one at Hawaiian Gardens, where they already spread 3-6 stud hi/lo. They spread all the HOSE games there at low limits, so shouldn't be too hard to convince them to mix them all on one table.
