Is this a river fold
First hand at table
Paradise Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $1. 2 folds, MP1 calls, MP3 calls, CO (poster) checks, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (6 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players) SB checks, Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks, CO checks. Turn: (3 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players) SB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, SB folds. River: (6 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players) Hero checks, MP1 bets, MP2 calls, CO folds, Hero ?? Pot is pretty big at this point and I think this is an easy call, but I dont like MP2 hanging around. |

Something is wrong with your hand history/converter...
There are only 5 players who called PF yet it shows 6 on the flop, what happened? At any rate, it doesn't make much difference. As Str8 is suggesting, you should def. have bet the flop. I can't agree about the river though...I bet-call here. |

If yes tell me why you think top pair no kicker OOP against five opponents on a 2 flush, 3 straight board is a real solid value bet. And the converter thing, it came out really screwy and I did my best to fix it. |

Four ways, I don't mind a check and see on the river. I think we can fold to a bet and a raise. I don't mind the flop check, either, as a check and see.

Re: Is this a river fold
I don't mind checking the flop here ... I always find the JT9 board one of the worst board for limping field (especially as it's a 6 way pot ... and or two suit) ... I'm hoping MP3 or CO is a total nob here and may bet with crap (so I can check raise)
on the river I probably take a bet fold line ... after you bet the turn and check the river MP1 could be on a steal here |

[/ QUOTE ] With J4o I would check but I think having the gutshot swings this to a bet both because our hand is better and because there are more things we would like to fold. |
