Did anyone else just see that? Crazy game. Oregon comes back from 13 points down in the final 2 minutes to win, with the help of two plays that should have been overturned but weren't, despite being reviewed. OU has a 44 yard FG to win at the buzzer, but it's blocked.
They did say the refs were from the Pac10... |

Yupz. Jeebus. You forgot to mention Oklahoma giving the ball to Adrian Peterson on the second to last play of the game with 23 seconds left on the clock and no timeouts (while in field goal position).

I thought stoops was going to choke the life out of the ref after the last blown call/challenge (which was blatantly obvious). Bodybuilders don't have the veins on their biceps that Stoops had bursting through his neck and temples.

A little more detail for those who missed it:
OU has the ball at Oregon's 10 up 30-20 with 3:30 left. They run a few times and kick a FG. 33-20. Oregon drives down the field against the prevent defense and scores with ~1:15 left and 1 timeout. Onside kick recovered by Oregon. They clearly touched it first after it went only 9 yards. After review, ref says there is conclusive evidence that OU touched the ball (wtf?). Play stands. After a few plays gaining 20 yards or so, Oregon throws a short slant that is called pass interference. Replays show that the ball was tipped at the line (I didn't think penalties could be reviewed). After review, the ruling is no indesputable evidence of tipped ball. Play stands. Two plays later, Oregon throws a 20 yd TD pass to take the lead. OU has no timeouts with 45 seconds left. Squib kick is returned to Oregon 30. Peterson runs it for 2 yards, and the ball is spiked barely in time with 2 seconds left. FG try is blocked. Oregon wins. |

Thanks for letting me relive the pain. [/ QUOTE ] I feel bad for all Oklahoma fans. The calls in the last couple of minutes made me sick. It boggles my mind how they can miss those calls even after reviewing them. |

On the pass interference call, it looked to me like the contact might have come before the ball was tipped. Either way, that call was not nearly as crucial as the onside kick.

![]() It's the Oregon uniforms. They blind the refs. |
