Default Poker Stars 1/2 2/4 Games Info Request

Now that PS offers a Reload Bonus, I was wondering how the 1/2 or 2/4 are there. Loose/Soft as Pacific? More Tight/Aggresive as Absolute?, or something in the middle?

Thank you all!!

I haven't played much 1/2, but I'd say that playing 2/4 and 3/6 if you table select well is pretty much like opening random tables at party.

Nowadays I don't look at how I can clear a bonus. I look at how I can add to my bankroll. If there is a good game and i can clear a bonus at the same time - great! If there isn't any good games I stay at party poker and let the fish make up for the bonus.

I play mainly 2/4 nowadays and i visited PokerStars. To my dissapointment i rarely see many fish.

Beatable.

Quite a few multi-table players.

2/4 was pretty soft with at least one 50%+ vpip at almost every table. However: it didn't stop me from loosing 100BB...

I've been playing the 1/2 and 2/4 there on this bonus. The games are closer to Absolute than Party on average. You can find a few good tables, but I would look across 2 or 3 limits. Tables tend to be on the tight/passive side mainly.

I've had the best luck starting new tables. The looser players just want to log-in and start playing right away, they really don't care to get into a 5 man deep waiting list to get on a 30%+ saw flop table.

Another strategy is to wait a couple months to clear the bonus. That gives the tight bonus chasers a chance to clear out so you don't have to play against a rock garden.

The alternative is to learn 6-max.
