How Can Mansion Afford This?
According to their information they let 5000 customers sign up for their 1100 bet. If PITT won they would pay $1000 each person.
So 5000*1000 = $5,000,000 How can they afford that? |

insurance [/ QUOTE ] No way. You don't take insurance out on a coin flip. If they did, the policy would cost a little more than 2.5 million dollars. Why bother? They can take the 5 million dollar hit. |

Re: How Can Mansion Afford This?
They have billions of dollars of revenue each year. They can afford to spew out a couple of million on a promotion every now and then.
If they give a fifty dollar deposit bonus to 50,000 people, it's the same amount of money. |

News flash: $5,000,000 for advertisement is not a big deal for large, profitable companies.

News flash: $5,000,000 for advertisement is not a big deal for large, profitable companies. [/ QUOTE ] Probably quite a bit better than a static ad as well. They could pay $5,000,000 to take out a full page ad in some magazine for x number of issues or something, and maybe a couple million people will see it, and maybe 1,000 will go to the website, and maybe 20 will deposit some money. Right now they have 500+ people who now really like Mansion, who have $2100 sitting IN their mansion accounts, not in a bank account hoping that maybe it might get put in. |
