Default How Can Mansion Afford This?

According to their information they let 5000 customers sign up for their 1100 bet. If PITT won they would pay $1000 each person.

So 5000*1000 = $5,000,000

How can they afford that?

No way. You don't take insurance out on a coin flip. If they did, the policy would cost a little more than 2.5 million dollars. Why bother? They can take the 5 million dollar hit.

They have billions of dollars of revenue each year. They can afford to spew out a couple of million on a promotion every now and then.

If they give a fifty dollar deposit bonus to 50,000 people, it's the same amount of money.

And logic isn't yours. The steelers will not always cover. Probably half the time they won't cover. Math isn't my strong suit, so I'll leave it to you to figure out the implications of this fact.

News flash: $5,000,000 for advertisement is not a big deal for large, profitable companies.

Probably quite a bit better than a static ad as well. They could pay $5,000,000 to take out a full page ad in some magazine for x number of issues or something, and maybe a couple million people will see it, and maybe 1,000 will go to the website, and maybe 20 will deposit some money.

Right now they have 500+ people who now really like Mansion, who have $2100 sitting IN their mansion accounts, not in a bank account hoping that maybe it might get put in.
