Re: Theoretical Turn Question
Off the top of my head, and only hands I might raise from the button: 44, 66, 99, KK, AA, AK (any suit), K9, Asxx, any two spades, obviously. Not sure if I missed any. The sets and flushes are actually raises, not calls.
Edit: on second thought, remove KQ/KJ. |

Re: Theoretical Turn Question
To correctly answer this question, I guess we need put the BB on a range. Let's say we don't have the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
First the odds: we are laid 2:5 immediate. His most possible holding is a made flush. So, unless we have a set, we are behind most of the time by a great margin, and we should be folding anything but a set. Let's say he has two pair, assuming we have a pair, we have 5 outs or have 1:9 odds. That sucks, and gotta fold too, as it sucks to get there and not get paid enough. Also, our outs are not clean. If we do have A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or a big spade, we can probably get to a higher flush with the 7 outs (1:6), still not good, but adding some implied odds, this is a call. Without A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and a pair or a set, it's very difficult to continue. To add to that simplified analysis, if we have a small flush, we can call down too. |
