Brake on the Turn, Gas on the River

Standard table - about hand 10. No great reads other than the superplayers who I know are not at this table.

Against most bad players, I'd just bet the turn, planning on checking the river. However, when I saw that river card, I'd bet again.

Preflop and flop are fine.
I would bet the turn. That 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] isn't a scary card and if either just picked up a 4 flush make them pay to see it.
River is fine.

Flop is good.
Bet the turn.
Bet the river again, that was the second best card that could have come out other than a King.

Yeah I slowed down on the turn. That was big question mark. When it checked through I was betting the river regardless. The Ace was a nice card to see...
