Hand 1 fold PF. Hand 2 I don't like the value bet at all. What hands that you beat are calling? Also, you definitely don't want to get check-raised and have to throw your hand away.

Ya I think a check behind is probably better.. I can only see JJ or QQ calling that we beat and they probably play previous streets differently

I don't like the 1st hand.. I like a fold pf, a smooth call on the flop, and a check behind on the river

2nd hand looks pretty standard to me as long as villian doesn't c/r the river here ever which is probably the case

I think I'd check behind both hands. Hand 2 nothing is going to want to call. Hand 1 you may be behind to something like KJ. They *did* call a flop raise. How stupid are your opponents? Do you not have PAHud?

I don't like either river bet. In the 2nd hand I think you basically get no value from anything and of course you get raised by a str8. That turn and river were not only brutal for your hand but for anyone else who had something like top pair or an overpair or whatever.

In the first hand I don't know how many 2nd best hands are with you that can call? Like most hands that make 2nd pair or a weaker top pair aren't in the BB's range and there aren't too many that MP2 won't have bet on either the turn or river.

Oh, also in the first hand I fold pre and probably call the flop.

Hand 1 fold preflop.

Hand 2 I'd check the river through.

Hand 1 fold preflop.

This is something that annoys me a little at this board (Mr.Jones, please don't take this personally, many others do this too, even in this thread):

The OP poses a question: "River value bet or not"? Responses should not just say "Fold pre flop" and then end of discussion. It's ok to say this but then the original question should also be discussed.

OK, my take: I haven't played a single 55, so I can't really add. At the 15+1, hand 1 is an ok value bet against typical unknowns because nonsense holdings are paying off. I's raise a bit less though, maybe 240. Hand 2 is never one because nonsense straights are possible and like slow playing.

I didn't read other replies.
Preflop: Ok, I fold mostly, raising or calling are fine too imo.

Flop: I'd just call the t80 and see what they do.

Turn: Well, the way you got here I now think we have the best hand. I'd bet t600 and hope to take it down. I'd fold to a raise.

River: The way you got here I think the value bet is good, probably a worse J or a good T will call you. If raised I'd dump it.

Hand 1 fold preflop and bet turn.

Hand 2 absolutely not, there is a 4 straight on board. He's not going to call you with middle pair or something.
