PokerStars FPP Recommendation
At the microlimits, we pay rake just like everybody else. My rake paid out is almost a ridiculous percentage of my winnings. Yet, to earn 1 FPP, the rake paid must be .40 or more. That means the pot has to equal $8 before we earn a point. Even at .25/.50, those pots are rare.
I recommend that PokerStars give players partial FPPs to make up for the high rake requirements. For example, a half an FPP for .20 in rake. If I could play higher, I would, but since I'm stuck at the micros, how about some incentive to log a lot of hands and a little reward for all the rake we pay? Proportional to our earnings, we pay more rake than any other level. |

Re: PokerStars FPP Recommendation
Proportional to how much revenue you generate for Stars, their overhead for the micro limits is much higher.

Re: PokerStars FPP Recommendation
I know we mean nothing to them since we don't generate $3 in rake every hand. But if they're giving our FPP's for .40 in rake, why not give out .5 FPPs for .20 or something?
Personally, if I felt I could realistically earn more FPPs, I'd log a lot more hands. |

Re: PokerStars FPP Recommendation
Pokerstars doesnt care about rake % as a % of your winnings, it cares about rake taken vs overhead/FPP's paid out.

Re: PokerStars FPP Recommendation
You might want to give Full Tilt a shot. They don't have levels as low as Stars does but they do have micro levels and they give you partial points. The stuff you can get with the points is generally crap unless you don't already have a ton of poker books. They do, however, have rakeback though.
