Default Getting the smoke smell out of my house

Today I was going to make egg salad so I put the eggs in a pot, added water, turned on the gas and then forgot all about them. I actually left the house for about 2 hours.

I came home to about 1 foot of thin smoke layered under the ceiling, a pot that had boiled dry and the eggs had exploded all over the kitchen. After getting the immediate problem of almost having a fire taken care of, I have now cleaned the kitchen thoroughly (will probably have to do it again). The entire house still stinks likes burnt eggs though. I have some candles lit and every window open but I don't think it is going to clear the odor out.

What can I do to get rid of this smell?

Try burning down the house and building a new one. I would recommend cedar.

My brother made fishsticks once. He put em in the pan and then decided to take a shower. From my room I smelled the burning and warned my brother who had forgotten all about them. He was about 25 when this happened.
