2 pieces of advice

1. When you are running bad - play shorter sessions and move down in limits.

2. When you are on a heater, play extremely long session. Play until you cannot physically play another hand. While I can't explain why this works (especially shorthanded or heads up), its probably a combination of you playing your best, your opponents their worst and your image being perfect.


Both of these are very hard to do.

1. take your time when making decisions. (Except for the obvious insta fold)

2. it's okay to pass some marginal EV (and metagame type) spots at the end of the session.

I do this when I've become annoyed enough by beats that I should quit but I don't want to quit but I want to make sure I don't start playing too LAG out of frustration...

It is the tilt that pretends it is not tilt.
