Stop paying this guy off. He rarely bluffs. Any big pots he is playing are with Overpairs, AK on A/K flop.
His stack is usually around $2500-$4000 before he ratholes. His stats look very aggro, but he is only aggro from LP, especially the button. VPIP, PFRP, First In Raise Percentage Button 36% 31% 24% Co 26% 22% 18% His Cold Call stats from these two positions is VERY low 2%, so he is frequently reraising here with a Big Ace, KQ, etc. From UTG, UTG+1, UTG+2 he is very tight 11/7, 11/8, 12/9 Because he is so loose on the button, you should be constantly reraising him from the blinds -- too which he will FOLD his bad hands. If he calls you... You should be careful on flops with big cards... You can safely fire again on flops with small cards. Remember that his stack is small, and that he is taking a tournament approach to the game. He is a very subpar poker player. Make adjustments, because it is sickening to see you guys paying off a ratholer like him. If you have any specific questions you can pm me. |

Down with the Ratholers! (and I thought this strategy was obvious to anyone who has played with him, but I often see people letting him take pots in LP)

haha KKF
i have mixed feelings about this post though you are obviously very correct but it says something about the quality of players that dont know how to adjust to him and keep paying him which is why i might start emulating him |

So this is the type of shortstack strategy that works at the upper limits? I haven't yet tried shortstacking above $5/$10, but if this strategy works up there, I might have to give it a shot.
