I did something similar on UB once. I was giving one of them the run around like you did. "Did you get it yet?" Sending it to the wrong user name, etc etc. Standard.
Then, a second beggar comes on. They're both asking for some loot for a big, low rolling, MTT or something. So I start asking for reasons and make a little competition out of it between the two of them. I run them around for a good 10 minutes. Finally, I point them to this other message board I frequent and tell them that the first one who finds my name and PMs me gets the money. They both registered and were racing to PM me. One of them got in, about 5 minutes before the tourney started. I thought, [censored], I might as well hold up my end of the deal after all that. I go to transfer and find out my account wasn't verified for inter-account transfers!!!!!!! So sorry.
