$200 NL, set with ugly river
Villain is loose preflop and chases draws with bad odds. He also overplays top pair. Game is 10 handed and blinds are $2-$4.
I'm dealt 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on the button. 3 limp, I limp, BB checks. Flop is J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Checked to the player to my right who bets $12, I raise to $36, Villain calls, bettor folds. Turn is 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Pot is now $104. Villain checks, I bet $80, he calls. River is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain goes all in and it's $80 for me to call. Call or fold here? |

Re: $200 NL, set with ugly river
raise flop to 45 or 50
Pot turn river, easy call ------------------ as played, leaning to fold. |
