Couple of 50nl, 6-max line checks.
Hand 1: I'd be very tempted to call this river bet had I checked behind on the turn. However, I have been testing out betting my fair hands on the turn, then checking behind on the river. Seems this play costs the same as checking the turn for pot control, then having to face a possible bluff/value bet from opponent on the river; and it keeps tough value bet decisions on the end for myself to a minimum. Not to mention I don't give any free cards. Thoughts?

Re: Couple of 50nl, 6-max line checks.
hand 1 depends on table image, pot sized bets are usually bluffs though so I might be tempted to look him up. Really read dependent.
hand 2 I think you can achive the same by raising it to $24ish. no need to push, i do like raising the draw on the turn. however with those stats looking like he is gonna call with top pair. hand 3 raise more preflop, with the button having that much behind i like to make it atleast 4x his bet so $8. this is to cut down his implied odds. turn is interesting as he flat called your flop bet, he could be doing this with a big hand such as a set or it could easily be a flush draw but i think that he will have JJ, QQ quite often here. to be honest though I am actually not too sure, once again read dependent |

Re: Couple of 50nl, 6-max line checks.
1: I like either a larger turn bet or a check, im folding this river without a read.
2: Im calling, your FE is likely low and many of your outs are disguised, hit and stack him or save the cash. 3: Id make it 7 to go b/c of the 2 limpers. maybe lead a bit more, say 15 on the flop. |
