I liked it at the time. SNGPT hates it. That suprised me. Whatcha think. Would you have pushed here without the benefit of the SNGPT stats?

Yea I would have pushed without a second thought. Maybe it's time for me to register SNGPT.

I figured SNGPT would hate this one. Basically, the wider BB's calling range is the tighter you have to be. Further, your stack is relatively healthy. I think it would probably tell you needed something QQ+ AK+, depending on villain's range.
I'm curious to see what others have to say on if/how value can be extracted from this hand, in this spot, when pushing is -EV. |

you are barely less than 10BB's, on the bubble I fold this. this is a change I have made to my game recently, if I have more than 7-8BB's or so I am not pushing into big stack on the bubble, especially if the other 2 have smaller stacks than I do, used to do it all the time though.
btw, this was my first post on 2+2, longtime lurker, and could be completely wrong |

That really surprises me given that all of the smaller stacks are even and relatively healthy.
What calling ranges did you put in? |

[ QUOTE ] SNGPT hates it. [/ QUOTE ] What calling range are you using? [/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure it would be -EV using a calling range of 22+, A5s+, K10+, QJ+. Basically, your average 16 big stack isnt mucking a pair, suited A, or face cards in this spot enough to make this push +EV. I might be wrong though. Maybe someone with SNGPT on their desktop can run the numbers against different ranges and see what it spits out. |
