Whatever happened w/ attempted banning of real time SNGPT?

I am wondering if there was ever any resolution to the attempt to ban the real time SNGPT that some poster created. I think it was called SNGEGT.

As far as I know the thread was taken down and that was the end of it. There is no way he is gonna make any money if he can't advertise on these forums.

Maybe I need to email party again though. It doesn't matter if he can't advertise here, until it is outlawed I won't be happy.

I agree e-mailing party and getting it banned is concern #1, I just meant that without the aid of this forum it will be very hard to market this product IMHO.

I never saw this. Why would you want to ban that? It sounds like it would be great to be able to use SNGPT real time. Like I said, I don't know anything about this including circumstances surrounding any of this. I'm sure there's a good reason, I'm just wondering why.

SNGS would become too hard to beat if a large % of people were using a tool like this.

This whole thread doesn't make a lot of sense. We don't want people to use it because if a "large percentage" do use it, we can't make money. But since it's been banned from this board, he won't ever really sell many copies. Therefore the conclusion is that a "large percentage" of the players in SNGS are using this forum, and those are the people we make our money from? Either 2+2 was his intended major market, in which the fish will remain the fish and it doesn't affect profits that much, or he's going to sell it to the fish and banning it from 2+2 is irrelevant.

I'm not suggesting any course of action, just pointing out that the arguments laid out don't really make sense.

how is sngpt making any money when there is a free version also available? are there any better things on sngpt the sngegt?
