Has separate Live and Online Forums been considered?

Hello all,

Just wondering if the consideration has ever beem made to have separate forums for the online versus live play in the Limit and NL sections.

Reason being is that I couldn't care less about online hand discussions, but am very interested in live ones, and I'm sure I am not alone (and many/most are vice versa).

Or, ask/require that the word "Live" be put in the title or something (many already do this, but many do not).

Just wondering.

Live and online are different enough for them to warrant different discussion a lot of the time. It would also make reading/searching the LHE and NLHE forums easier to navigate for those that want to see only live or only online discussions.

I was considering posting in the small stakes limit section requesting that posters indicate live or online in their titles because I only play live and think that online is sufficiently different that I have little to gain/nothing to add in the discussion. I PM'd a mod instead but I never heard back or saw anything posted. Obviously I agree with you on this.

To the responder above who asked what difference it'll make: Only to save people like me time at the cost of small effort to the OP.

Absolutely. Especially since I finally started playing HE again (both limit and NL) [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

The year almost-hiatus from HE did my psyche a lot of good! Jeez, I'd forgotten how easy the games are! It's like Keno for the house!

I play both forms and although I appreciate the differences between live and online, I oppose the creation of new forums for live. This is because I feel that high stakes live play has a lot more in common with high stakes online play than small stakes live play. The only way to solve this problem is to have five or more new live forums (HSNL, SSNL, HSL, SSL, non-HE) to accommodate the differences in play. I am trying to provide a voice against too many new forums.
