TP with straight draw
I'm trying to review some hands for a friend, and this hand came up. Besides leading with a larger bet on the flop, can someone point out any other errors? I'm mostly looking at the math & odds on flop & turn. Being so short stacked, not sure he can do much else.

Re: TP with straight draw
1. hero is short stacked, its a mistake to call the preflop out of position with a drawing hand playing short
2. there are no reads on opponent so dont play big pots with them 3. this flop is very coordinated. the 8 doesnt help you because youre drawing to the sucker end of the straight. a Q would cripple you. all you have is top pair and thats not worth 27$ 2. |
