Default Mad World in Donnie Darko

This inspired by a debate amongst friends. We were in conflict over whether song fit in with the scene at the end of the movie. What say ye?

I can't think of any other movie where a song fits as well as Mad World does in DD.

Though in general I agree, I think 'where is my mind' was really great for the end of fight club (and im not one of *those* fight club fans)

So far there appears to be no debate.

Nail

Head.

But I am one of "those" Fight Club fans.

And overall the entire score for Donnie Darko was pretty top-notch.

When thinking of ending songs, only these 2 come to mind.

You really sould see it or read the book, very very good. I think he is refering some fanatics who love the movie a littel too much, or what I encounter alot people that love it but because they think it's about being macho and fighting and stupid [censored] like that and have completely missed the point. Donnie Darko is slightly better, they are probably my nr.1 and 2 favourite movies though.
