Default Not scared of Monsters.

If the players at these tables are so bad (ie the loose/fishy gambooling types), isnt the extra 1 or 2 bb's we win when playing these type of mistake prone opponents more than making up for the 50 cent hike?

What do you guys think?

It will be about 1-3 months before we know if the tables are any juicier. Right now the concensus seems to be that they are exactly the same but more rake.

Has anyone factored in the EV of hitting the bad beat jackpot on these tables? (Note: I suck at math) I'm thinking the extra 50 cents hurts a lot less than people are making it out to be.

The forum somehow doesn't seem to care or consider that at all even though the BBJ is currently +EV on every table.

I'm guessing the odds of hitting it (being the winner or loser in the hand) at an NL 6 max table are less than 1 in 100K in my lifetime. Over that course I'll be paying $20K/year or so. Whoopdeedo

Sure, if you only play M tables after the fools have built it to 300K+ (or whatever) you've got an edge. Good luck cashing in on that long run though.
